Workshop On RUP......
Hello Friends,
This is my First ever BLOG so please give your sincere comments on it, so it can help me improve, while i write the next Blog..
WORKSHOP ON RUP.........
RUP is basically a framework for building a software project. The framework developed by Rational, which was then acquired by IBM.
The workshop started on with the Introduction of RUP and its Phases from Mr. Parag Shah.. First, I was confused as weather it’s a new term defined to the "Agile Methodology", but as the lecture proceeded and new insights were provided in the lecture, I understood it’s a new framework which has some similarity as Agile Methodology Like iteration development, less documentation and quick development.
My questions regarding the deference between RUP and AG was clarified by the IBM tool the Rational Method Composer which helped in understanding the things sir had explained in the class with help of some documentations provided by the tool............
The things started to get more clear as we had the next lecture on Agile Extreme Programming, the difference between the two started to make some sense in My Confused Brains...
The Best thing was the practical implementation of the Methodology which is the best way to explain anything and everything....Once you have a practical hand on the Methodology you can understand as to what the lecture and the tools really meant to us. As to what is RUP?????
Currently working on the Organizer project, which is being developed using the RUP Methodology of Project Development...
Thinks are getting clearer and are Making sense....
I guess you all who might be reading my Blog would agree on my saying that "Practical Implementation Help in learning more then what is taught in Theories"
